Camp Abilities Welcomes

Junior Blind of America !

 

Camp Abilities is a developmental sports camp for children with visual impairments, blindness, or deafblindness.

California ’s Camp Abilities will be part of the CTEBVI conference in April 2010,

and Junior Blind of America will be hosting the event at their prestigious campus!

Important Note:

Parents must be current CTEBVI members AND be registered for

CTEBVI conference.

Camp Abilities is not open to the public.

When:

Friday, APRIL 23, 6 pm - Sunday, APRIL 25, end at 12pm

What:

GOAL BALL, JUDO, ROWING, Paralympians, and FUN!

Who:

Any child with a visual impairment, blindness,or deafblindness, 6-16 years old

How :

April 1 , 2010 - COST $40

Tentative Schedule:

Friday…………..Opening ceremonies and Paralympic Speakers

Saturday….……….. GoalBall, Judo, Rowing, Bowling

Sunday morning……………………Running, Jump Rope, Goal Ball Tournament,

Closing Ceremonies

Cost includes t-shirt; lunch on Saturday & all activities.

Saturday’s events will be held at the Junior Blind of America campus

(15 min from hotel – transportation will be provided).
